What types of orders can I place?
CoinZoom offers several order types to help you execute your trading strategy.
Market Orders
A market order executes immediately against the best price available. Market sells match the best available bids, and market buys match the best available asks.
Market orders are best when fast execution is more important than the exact price. CoinZoom applies a 1% limit buffer from the best market price to account for minor market movement during execution. Orders always fill at the best available price and are charged the Taker Fee.
Stop Orders
A stop order triggers a market buy or sell when the market crosses your specified price. Commonly used as stop-loss orders, they help limit potential losses.
Example (Stop Sell): If the current market price is 250 and you want to sell if it drops to 245, place a stop sell at 245.
Example (Stop Buy): If the market price is 250 and you want to buy if it rises to 255, place a stop buy at 255.
Stop orders execute as market orders once triggered. Maker or Taker fees apply depending on execution price relative to the market.
